Caution! Your ClickBank Commission Will Be Gone
I don’t want to frighten you because this can happen if you do not comply with applicable FTC (Federal Trade Commission), aka the United States Department of Commerce.
On December 1, 2009, the FTC issued a new regulation governing the use of endorsements & testimonials in advertising. This regulation applies to the business (including online businesses) based in the United States, of which there are ClickBank, Amazon, ShareASale & Commission Junction.
You as an affiliate of ClickBank & Amazon are also affected by this rule.
Because if you do not comply with these rules, your affiliate product will be stopped by the affiliate program owners & you do not get paid commission.
How to make your ClickBank & Amazon commission stay safe?
The point is you have to make affiliate disclosure. Essentially you must inform the prospective buyer (prospect) that you will get a compensation (in this case the sales commission) from the product owner if the prospect buy through your link.
For example you could write: I may receive compensation if you purchase this product.
