Dreamweaver CS3 “Initializing Files” Problem in Windows Vista Home Premium

icon dreamweaverFinally, I am change my HTML software from old Dreamwever to Dreamweaver CS3. The reason is because the old Dreamweaver doesn’t work well in Vista Home Premium, like an error when creating a table, can’t import an image file, and so many error I got there.

So, I am decided to buy Dreamweaver CS3 that cost US$399. Then, I think all of the problem will be solved when I am use the lastest version of Adobe Dreamweaver because the software is 100% compatible in Vista.

But it’s not!

The installation is fine, but when I launch the software, Dreamweaver CS3 have a problem in loading screen at “Initializing Files” and it’s stop working. I searched on the internet about this issue and tried every troubleshooting steps, like re-install the software, opening Dreamweaver on Selective Startup Mode, turning off all antivirus software and so on.

I was thinking it must be a very difficult to fix this problem, until I found this site that solve my problem.

If you’re using Acer computer, there is a software from Acer called “Acer E-Data Security Management”. You just need to uninstall the program from your Control Panel and remove the “Acer E-Data Security Management”. Very easy right?

Maybe Acer should pay more attention with this problem in the future.

If you still want to use E-Data Security, you can try this patch. Thanks for Mazin for this patch. It’s awesome.
